The 11th is probably one of the holes you’ll be talking about in the club house after the round, certainly the first time you play. It’s a short par 4 with a lake placed between tee and green. Testosterone fueled big hitters may well ‘go for the green’, but obviously this means a huge water carry. The problem is the fairway is very narrow with water to the left, OB to the right, and some rough on the mound to the right too. “Sensible” players are known to take an iron off the tee, to make sure they get on the fairway, after all, it is a short hole, so anywhere on the fairway brings the green into play.
