Handicap Hole 3
The 6th presents some interesting challenges. A par 4 which you shouldn’t forget easily. The water hazard in front of the tee isn’t in play unless you are a complete beginner, but trees on the fairway can cause problems for any player. The hole bends gently to the left, but don’t be tempted to cut too much off the corner as there is a ditch running along the left, as well as a forest of trees to cause problems.
About the distance that most players will hit their tee shots, a few trees make the fairway very narrow meaning you may have to chance a bit to luck off the tee, unless you can thread your drive between the trees.
Once past those trees, the approach is to a green guarded by a couple of bunkers, that is again elevated. As it can be a tricky green to hit, there is still a lot that can go wrong on the hole. As the hole isn’t the longest par 4 on the course, it certainly isn’t the hardest, but it does create some testing challenges.
