The 13th is the number one handicap hole – and not surprisingly so! There is water on both sides that regularly invades across the fairway. The water on the left is the most dangerous as it crosses onto the fairway right around driving distance. 3 little bushes visible from the tee mark where the water is.
Given the threat of the water, it is risky to drive off the tee, but given the length of the hole, you can be left with a long second shot. Of course I have to mention the bunkers that lurk all over the fairway – if you miss the water, the bunker will be waiting! Fortunately the green is the easiest part of the hole, as it slopes gently towards the front edge.
