Highlands golf resort opened in 2006 and quickly gained a reputation as a course of outstanding quality. Located in the mountains to the east of Chiang Mai, near to Sankampaeng Hot Springs, it boasts excellent facilities and excellent conditions. The practice facilities are second to none in Chiang Mai, with driving range and plenty of chipping and putting greens. The views from the hilly course are stunning. The layout comprises an unrivalled selection of rivers, lakes, bunker hazards. It promises to be a beautiful village spa resort in the future with land planned for villas and accomodation.

Features

Highlands is trully a world class golf course capable of holding professional tournaments. The practice facilities are ideal for warming up with a driving range and several greens including bunkers to work on. The course offers an array of challenges, with a river running through the course, several lakes and many, many bunkers - be sure to bring your sand game! Considering how new the course is (opened 2005), its conditioning is shocking, as the management clearly take great care to keep it in good shape. The 18th hole will leave you with great memories of the course - a par 5, that traverses a river valley - with a good drive you could get there in 2.
