The tee shot on the opening hole at Sand Creek has 2 water hazards to contend with. Most players should easily carry the first little lake, but the 2nd lake may come into play for long hitters. Trees line both sides of the fairway, and with a sneaky bunker hidden on the right side of the fairway, it pays to be conservative and make sure you are safely on the fairway in between the water hazards. The 2nd shot should carry the second lake, to the smallish green protected by bunkers.
