The 17th is a dog leg left, but the left side of the fairway is OB. To the right of the fairway is a lake, which extends to immediately in front of the tee off. The tee shot needs to carry this water, and head to the fairway. A long bunker extends the length of the left side of the fairway, and while it is possible for long hitters to carry the bunker, there isn't much space left before the water. The safe option is down the fairway towards the big tree.

The approach shot will need to carry over some water to get to the green. The approach shot is quite tricky as water extends around the right side of the green and to some extent to the back of the green, where there are also 2 bunkers. The elevated green means that you won't have a good view of it.

The green has some tricky locations to putt from if you leave the ball in the wrong place. The green slopes away to the right, but front left there is also a big valley.
