Tee Shot on Hole #3 at Gassan Khun Tan Golf Course
The 3rd in an interesting par 5. The tee shot takes you back over the river, which crosses in front of the tee boxes and follows the left side of the fairway. Getting over the water onto the fairway isn't a big challenge, but the real challenge is to advance down the fairway towards the green. The more adventurous the shot, the more river there is to carry. Going to far right brings some bunkers into play.
A good tee shot will allow low handicappers to attack the green. While it might be in range, the shot has its fair share of difficulties. The green is unsighted behind a mound and bunker, and before the green there is a stream crossing the fairway. There are also bunkers all around the green. The safer second shot is to play towards the left, and open up a view of the green. Once one the green, it is fairly flat for with quite reliable putting.
