The first hole at Doi Inthanon is a splendid par 5. Drive your tee shot down a narrow tree lined fairway, but be careful of the well placed bunkers on the right. Your second shot is blind, as you head uphill along the fairway towards the corner where the fairway turns right. The hole then slopes away down to the green that is surround by bunkers. A stream crosses the fairway and can be reached in 2. Don't go over the fairway, or you'll be out of bounds.
