Doi Inthanon is a new course built some 50 km south of Chiang Mai deep within the Lamyai groves. It's close to Ban Hong, Chom Thong and Doi Lo, and is easily accessible from Chiang Mai city - just head south along the Hang Dong road, and turn right at the 49 KM marker. At time of writing the course now has 18 holes open, but the clubhouse and some of the landscaping are awaiting. However the design, layout and condition of the course are excellent and definitely worth a visit.

Features

The highlight for me was the closing sequence of holes - with 4 spectacular holes at the end. A long tough uphill par 4, followed by a downhill par 3. The 17th and 18th then already rank in the most attractive holes in Chiang Mai, so you'll definitely have something to talk about on the journey back to Chiang Mai.
