Tee Shot on Hole #16 at Chiang Mai Lamphun Golf Course
This par 4 can be chosen for a longest drive competition. It is downhill all the way to the hole and straight so you can see your target from the tee. That said, it isn't such an easy hole. A tee shot down the right side of the fairway flirts with danger in the form of some bunkers, but then more seriously some large bamboos blocking the route to the green. Ideally the tee shot should be down the left hand side, but too far left and there is OB.

Once past the bamboos the route to the green is straight forward. It is guarded down the left by a bunker and there is also one to hinder shots that stray to the right.
The green has 2 tiers, with the bank higher than the left. If your ball ends far from the pin, you are going to be left with a tricky putt on this long thin green.
