Tee Shot on Hole #12 at Chiang Mai Lamphun Golf Course
The 12th at Chiang Mai Lamphun Golf Course is a tricky hole, with a very challenging green. The tee shot requires you to carry some water hazards to reach the fairway, while leaving your ball short of the 3 bunkers on the right hand side of the fairway. As the hole bends to the left, being able to draw the ball around the corner is an advantage, but either way you'll be left with a longish uphill approach shot.

The approach shot is tricky to judge. The green isn't the biggest, and has a bunker to collect any balls that are short of the green. Another couple of bunkers collect balls that are right or long. If you end up in the bunker on the right, then it is a very tricky bunker shot onto a green that slopes fast away from you. The ideal shot leaves your ball on the left of the green, but with water running all the way down the left of the hole, it isn't the easiest shot to pull off.
The green on the 12th is the toughest green at Chiang Mai Lamphun Golf Course. It slopes steeply from right to left, and back to front. If you miss the hole just a little you'll end up with a long putt as the ball can fall away quickly.
